My family and I and my S.O. had a get together
today that Has been put off for the last month due to scheduling
between all of our jobs and what not.
At first we had planned a cook out, but changed
our mind because of the time frame with my sister's job.
So we decided to do a take out dinner with
all of us getting what ever we wanted, so quite a few of us wanted
Chinese food, others pizza and KFC.
So my one sister calls me today to tell me,
that the place where they usually order their Chinese food, is
closed. They live in another town from me.
Matter of fact it's been closed since early
part of this year
So my sister calls me today to tell me that
they closed this China Buffet, some one walked in while they had
a
DEAD DOG ON THE COUNTER, HALF OF IT CHOPPED
UP FOR FOOD.
I thought it was a rumor but my sister was
informed by a church member that it was indeed true, because at
the hospital where she works has strong ties with the health department.
We all said my sisters and I that we will never eat Chinese ever
again.
Because that is just nasty.

What a culture may celebrate in its homeland...
or not... is really not related to what those people do in this
country. Business owners understand health codes and count on
locals for their income.
Somehow I find the notion that this took
place BUT WAS NOT ON THE EVENING NEWS a little unlikely.
And the thread smacks of racism.

Sorry that YOU feel that way Shandalear
But I like to know how it SMACKS of racism.
Like I said this happened in the early part
of the year in a small town, and people and other countries do
eat more than dogs and cats, gross for us in America because where
use to hotdogs and hamburgers.
In this country we have laws and health codes
and if you don't follow them you will be shut down, like this
take out place.
Please tell me where is the racist bent in this post.
Even after the chicken on the sidewalk incident
I ate Chinese food just not at that place.
But this makes me question even going to
Taco Bell or McDonald's and ordering food period. Because you
do not what's going on in the back period

Your kidding right because not sure where
you come from but money is money and if you can get by, using
less than quality items in anything to save money people will,
that is just human nature.
This has nothing to do with them being Chinese
but breaking a health code is a deal breaker with me.
When I worked at the mall a co-worker and
I went to Friendly's and since it was always crowded we waited
to be seated, while standing their, the manager comes to the front,
with a plate of food in his hand, french fries where on the plate
and he adjusted them with his hand and on his one finger there
sat a dirty band-aid, can you say beyond nasty, we looked at each
other and left. Now this is the mid 80's and it was years before
I ate at another Friendly's.
I stated in the "I ALMOST STARTED A RIOT POST" that
I'm the most colorblind person I know, my whole family is with
the exception of one sister who HATES everyone (she is crazy,
not kidding here).
My mom grew up with being judged because
she was a black woman, she taught us all to judge people by their
character and not skin color or what they can do for us but how
they treat others.

It's racist. If you don't like it, don't
be racist.
Google the name of the restaurant. Stories
of this nature don't vanish even after a few years.
It's a lie, and it's irresponsible, hateful,
and ignorant of you to spread it.
Nice church community.

First of all shandelear it's not racist.
I have nothing against Asian people.
Racism literally means the belief that one
human race is superior to another.
How is my saying that this is what I heard
from my sister who asked some at her church if this way true,
some one that was in the know.
For you to have a snarky comeback about wow,
"Nice church community"
speaks how you view other people religious beliefs.
If you even read what I posted my sisters
ate there a lot over the years so her asking is not being Racist.
Do I think all Muslims are terrorist NO,
because that would be racism,
Do I think all Chinese restaurants serve
dog meat as chicken NO because that would be racism.
And yes I've heard about all the urban myths that surfaces from
time to time and this one especially because I love chinese food.
And never paid mind to it, but this did happened.
Sorry if some of you have a problem with
this post, but to call some a Racist burns my butt. I always give
everyone on this board the the right to express themselves with
out calling them names and I think it speaks something about those
who name call others on this board.

You have a clear hatred against the church.
I guess that goes along with your satanic activity. And YES, being
a witch is satanic. Others are too nice to say it but it is the
TRUTH. Know the truth before it is too late!

OK for the last time.....................
@L.S.
lJust because somebody's friend AT CHURCH
says it happened, then that makes it true? I don't think so!
The lady at the church works at a hospital, she knows the person
at the health department in our county.
No one pulled this story out of bag of urban
myths by racist ranting people.

I'm not sure where you live but 2 years ago, a carrier for the
local newspaper was attacked by a bunch of teenagers, they were
hanging out on the front porch drinking beer in the dark.
She gets out and throws the paper on the
porch when one or two grabs her and won't let her go and tried
to drag her into the house.
Do you want to know something it was a tiny
ass write up in the paper.
No big news splash on TV, nothing.
Why don't you look in the mirror and see
who the real racist is.
Oh and get it right.
Racism is the belief that race is the primary
determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences
produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.[1] In the
case of institutional racism, certain racial groups may be denied
rights or benefits, or get preferential treatment, while Reverse
discrimination favours members of a historically disadvantaged
group at the expense of those of a historically advantaged group.
Racial discrimination typically points out taxonomic differences
between different groups of people, even though anybody can be
racialised, independently of their somatic differences. According
to the United Nations conventions, there is no distinction between
the term racial discrimination and ethnic discrimination.
We can't make this stuff up, folks...
